1. Who We Are and Our Role

Trading Interview B.V. provides assessment services to companies (“Client Companies”) for evaluating job candidates. In this relationship:

  • The Client Company that invited you is the “data controller” – they decide why and how your data is processed
  • Trading Interview B.V. is the “data processor” – we process your data on behalf of the Client Company
  • You are the “data subject” – the candidate being assessed

2. How You Got Here

You can only access this assessment platform through an invitation from a Client Company as part of their recruitment process. This is not a public service you can purchase or subscribe to independently.

3. What Personal Data We Collect

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on:

  • Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): The Client Company has a legitimate interest in assessing candidates for employment
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): You provide explicit consent when you begin the assessment
  • Legal Obligations: Where required by employment or equality laws

5. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data only to:

  • Administer and score your assessment
  • Generate reports for the Client Company
  • Ensure assessment integrity and prevent cheating
  • Provide technical support if you experience issues
  • Improve our assessment platform (using anonymized data only)
  • Comply with legal obligations

6. Who We Share Your Data With

Important: Your assessment results and personal data WILL be shared with the Client Company that invited you. This is the primary purpose of the assessment.

We may also share your data with:

We NEVER:

  • Sell your personal data

7. International Data Transfers

Your data is transferred to the United States for hosting. We ensure protection through:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
  • Technical measures: Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
  • Organizational measures: Strict access controls and confidentiality agreements

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Assessment results: 24 months from completion date, then anonymized
  • Technical logs: 90 days
  • Client Company: May retain your data longer based on their policies and legal requirements (contact them directly for details)

9. Your Data Protection Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

We protect your data using industry-standard measures:

  • Encryption at rest and in transit
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Regular security audits
  • Incident response procedures
  • Staff training and confidentiality agreements

11. Cookies

We use only essential cookies necessary for the assessment to function:

  • Session cookies to maintain your assessment state
  • Security cookies to prevent fraud
  • No tracking or marketing cookies
